Fine Art Black & White Custom Prints

 

In recent years more couples have asked about fine art black and white photography, a development we are pleased to see. Some photographs are seemingly meant to be in color but there are also photographs which render a more dramatic classical simplicity in black and white. Most of the images of a wedding day - the flowers, dresses, and floral arrangements - are rendered most brilliantly in color but there are moments and conditions where black and white photographs may tell the story better.

We are sorry to say that most of the professional color labs which have served us so well in recent years do not seem to have enough talented darkroom technicians to print fine art black and white prints. It is for this reason that we have decided to custom print all black and white images leaving our studio. This is a time consuming endeavor but the results are worth the time and effort.

Instead of traditional 4 by 5 inch prints, couples will view a contact sheet of their negatives and then select images for their photographer to custom print. Various black and white print packages will be offered.
