Join the Rod and Reel Radio Crew on our annual expedition to the Iliamna River, Alaska, in search of huge trout and salmon, as well as char and giant halibut! Your alaskan adventure awaits you beginning on the shores of the tranquil Iliamna River. Come at a time of year when the Trout are just awakening after a long winter or come when the waters are teaming with Sockeye. Fly out for the mighty Kings or travel to the ocean for the wily Halibut. Either direction you go, you're sure to be met with breathtaking panoramas of our slice of Alaska.
Guth International is Open to Passengers
You are able to shut the lodge door, walk up the hill to the airstrip, get in an airplane and fly away. The advantages of having the planes on the property are immediately noticeable.
Anglers Will Enjoy the Improved King Camp
In an effort to make the out-camp more accommodating, the Guth's have purchased two new dome-style tents. You will also be ferried around in one of two new 18-20 foot sleds that replaced the Leak Fast and Sink Fast. You can look forward to new beds and frames, wooden flooring, a generator and a freezer. All of the new equipment should make the Nushagac camp much more comfortable for you. Additionally, if all goes as planned, the camp will have a brand new location on the Nushagac River in 2006!
